Musical "King David" Behind -the - Scenes Cuts at Hyoja Chunsung Church

 

 

 

We successfully drew down a curtain in the grand finale

the musical performance of "King David"

on December 25, 2023.

 

 

 

Today, I'd like to share

the exciting behind-the-scenes stories

of that special day!!

 

 

 

On the performance day, December 25, 2023, 

With hearts pounding, we  tightened the screws

 right after Christmas worship,

by touching up details for presentation of the gospel

through the musical that brings

joy to the heart of God.

 

 

 

 

We had a rehearsal like a real performance stage,

with a professional spirit!

 

 

 

Each cast member has their own unique character in the scenes,

so we did our best to express all of characters  with delicate touches. 

 

 

 

As the time comes to the real stage,

we transport ourselves back to the era of David

after thorough checks on every step

- audio, stage setup, visuals, props, and more.

 

 

 

 

With prayers and all necessary arrangements,

the time has finally come to

start! 

 

 

 

 

An hour before the performance,

the auditorium is already full of audiences

 

Due to the popularity of our musicals

at Hyoja Chunseong Church,

 

many attendees opt to stand

and watch if they arrive late.

Hyoja Chunseong Church remains

a church centered on the God's Word,

 

where the fire of the Holy Spirit burns warmly,

and we eagerly anticipate a revival reminiscent

of the glorious days in 1907,
